Low-deformation induction contour hardening technology “SRIQ®”

Neturen has applied its know-how of induction heating to develop its gear contour hardening technology.
Low-deformation contour hardening technology ”SRIQ” performs extremely high-speed main heating (0.5 seconds or less) after preheating lasting a few seconds to realize amazingly short heat treatment time (Approximately 15 seconds) that offers a great many benefits such as a low level of hardening deformation and reduction of after-processes.

Inline refining stabilized (low) distortion induction contour hardening system “W-IQ”

As a development that makes use of the contour hardening technology applying induction heating developed over a span of many years, Neturen has developed ”W-IQ” a technology that performs contour hardening after inline refining. This technology has attracted attention for its ability to realize both machining performance and high fatigue strength for gears.

Development of Heat Treatment Technologies

With the goal of development and maturation of heat treatment technology, Neturen’s induction heat treatment technology center FTC (Fine Techno Center) carried out research, development and prototyping of surface reforming using mainly induction heating (IH) technology and also provides technical consultations on induction heat treatment.

Combined salt nitrocarburizing and quenching heat treatment “PALNIP®”

Neturen has developed ”PALNIP” a heat treatment technology that combines salt nitrocarburizing and induction quenching (in collaboration with NIHON PARKERIZING CO.,LTD) ”PALNIP” is a combined technology that enhances abrasion resistance characteristics by salt nitrocarburizing and improves fatigue strength by induction quenching, already widely used for automotive parts. Neturen plans to expand application of this technology to a wide diversity of parts in the future.
