N-Tubrack® (Hollow rack bars) is one of the components constituting the automobile steering system (rack and pinion gear).
It plays the role of converting the rotational motion from a steering wheel into linear motion via a pinion gear and change the rudder angle of the tires.
Since Neturen started production in 2002, we have a proven track record with a cumulative total of more than 10 million units.
A wide range of vehicles, from large RVs, sports cars, commercial vehicles, to 1,000-cc compact cars, are installed with hollow rack bars.
Received the FY2012 Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Director-General's Award, from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Received the Mobility Related Parts Award in the FY2019 Cho-Monozukuri Parts Grand Award (Sponsored by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, Ltd.)
Adopting N-Tubrack® will enable weight savings of 30 to 40% compared with solid rack bars.
VGR rack bars enable varying steering characteristics by changing the gear ratio between the center and stroke end of the rack.
Setting a smaller gear ratio at the center of the rack and a larger gear ratio at the stroke end will achieve excellent straight-line stability and vehicle maneuverability.
Setting a larger gear ratio at the center of the rack and a smaller gear ratio at the stroke end will reduce the load on the assist motor.
It provides 1.5 to 2.0 times better bending strength when compared with normal solid rack bars.
